First Steps

When faced with a death and a situation you may not have experienced before, it can feel like a daunting task to ensure that your loved one gets the funeral they deserve.  The team at E Hill and Son are here to help you.

Arranging a funeral is a unique opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one and our caring and professional staff will be available to guide and advise you throughout.

It’s often the case that people feel like they need to be “doing something”, and you may want to consider the following prior to meeting with a funeral director.  You don’t need to have all the answers before we meet, but talking to family members about these things before you do meet with the funeral director can be helpful.

What to do when a death occurs

The first steps are often the hardest to make.  We have experienced staff on call, 24 hours a day to answer the telephone, whether this is to arrange bringing your loved one into our care or to speak to a funeral director to answer any questions you have.
